Welcome to Our New Secure Online Order System!

Due to popular demand, we have now added a new secure shopping cart system so you can order online using your credit card. We will still maintain our manual Mail Order Form (see "Order Form" link at left) for those customers who prefer to use traditional methods of payment.

Please note that some orders may require extended manufacturing and delivery times due to inventory levels, item complexity and our work load. Please be assured that your credit card will not be charged until shortly before the order is shipped. Just navigate as you did before throughout the site and look for the "Buy" buttons on each product page.

On each product page, please be sure to enter any additional quantities and select special product options first before clicking the "Buy" button. On orders that require your input as to waist sizing, custom inscriptions, tooling or other data, please type this information into the text area marked “Personalization Message” first before clicking the Buy button also. We are always looking for better ways to serve you and hope you will enjoy this new automated convenience to our web site!

“Raising the Standard in Supplying the
Common Civil War Soldier Reenactor Since 1998”

Dell's Tools

Dell's Leather Works originated from 12 years of experience associated with Civil War reenacting/living history and over 25 years of leatherworking experience. Our sole continuous interest is researching and painstakingly reproducing original artifacts to add to our product line. We began with a small list of handmade leather goods and developed a line of quality goods that have been the constant demand of reenactors over many years.

Our entire product line is copied from specifications or pictures of originals from the Quartermaster's Manual, Watchdog, Civil War Times Encyclopedia, Fighting Men of the Civil War and Lord's Encyclopedia and/or from original specimens loaned to Dell's Leather Works. From these sources, we create the blueprint for our reproductions.

We use only the highest quality and the most authentic materials of their kind. Everything is hand-stitched, except where noted otherwise. Where correct, items are stamped with maker's marks and inspector's stamps for authenticity. We are confident that you will be very satisfied owning one of Dell's Leather Works reproductions. Satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back.

We are always looking for new suppliers of American made quality textile goods. If you would like to become a Dell's Leather Works subcontractor, please contact us detailing your wares and proposals.

At left are category links to our quick-view selection pages. From there you can click on a product thumbnail image which takes you to detailed product specifications and enlarged imaging. You can prepare your order by clicking the "Order Form" link on the left at any time. Print the form, fill it out and mail. Thank you for visiting Dell's Leather Works!
