Poke Sacks/Ration Bags were not
military issue, but were found to be commonly used
during the period. Often used to carry rations and
other personal effects. All bags have hemp string pulls. They were available in many styles
and materials from scraps at home, such as duck,
muslin or prints. Our bags are made of middle weight canvas. Special orders available on request.
